After our last group meeting, we opted for a safe option to pitch forward on thursday. This will be backed up with a more experimental design, which uses the same fundamental design points as the safe option.
Each of us set out to produce an experimental design, which kept to some of the fundamental design points that we set as guidelines. We were free to go beyond these guides, so long as we had a rationale to back up the direction we took the design.
Below is the Issuu document that shows my spreads as prepared for the meeting with the group on the 08.03.11. Im pleased with how the design came out, keeping to the design guides myself and the group had put forward, i added several features and allowed several small details to the designs which i feel brought out the design a little bit more.
The design also includes a new cover, which apposed to typing out '3' it is indicated through imagery and a new colour has been selected to really bring out the design. I really like this tone of green, i experimented with others, however they drowned out the design, instead of complimenting it, which this tone does.
