Kliment Kalchev (Branding + Logo Design)

Kliment Kalchev's work is truely inspirational. Looking through the website in depth, this design agency is type based with the majority of their resolutions. You can tell this is their speciality by the techniques used, the somewhat experimental resolutions which are beautifully finished, including colour pallet, type selection and format.
Although none of these logos are directed to a music based client, they are examples of what i could do with the Shammix logo, they have given me fresh ideas on areas i could take my type design into.
Some of the fonts which Kliment Kalchev use, are custom made. After the group tutorial with Fred, i wrote down i could produce a font as a part of one of my brief - could Shammix be the brief?
My client wants the logo to be playful, bold and use a bright colour pallet to attract attention. He would also like some sort of an illustrated logo / identity like that of 'Deadmau5'.
Time to get to that drawing board and start developing some concepts and play with some type.
